A Chinese ruby ground baluster vase six character Yongzheng mark but 19th century, the body painted with a stylized design of lotus, flowers and foliage beneath a band of elaborate pendants and with lappets to the foot, the shoulders moulded with animal head and ring handles, together with a reticulated hardwood stand, 26cm. (2) Provenance: Mrs W Sykes, collected between 1931 and 1939.
