A rare Chinese black and gold lacquer rectangular side table 18th/early 19th century, the top delicately decorated with two small figures on a bridge in a landscape with pagodas, trees, rocks and water, framed by a border of lotus scroll which continues down the slightly tapering legs with cloud terminals, damages to the top of the legs and wear, 117.5cm x 36.5cm x 81.5cm.
