Variously carved as a carp under lotus, the pod with movable seeds; a man kneading bread, signed Masakazu in a mother of pearl tablet underneath; Raijin, the God of Thunder standing on scrolling clouds and holding a small lantern, faintly signed underneath; a crying Daruma doll, signed; another a mask netsuke, the open mouth possibly serving as the himotoshi, and two netsuke depicting tortoises, one signed, 6.5cm max.
