A PAIR OF JAPANESE SATSUMA PLATES

MEIJI 1868-1912

One decorated with a blindfolded man playing with women and children around a standing tsuitate, the other with twelve samurai seated in a room decorated with many taka-no-ha mon, the rims painted in dark blue with gilded flowers, both plates with gilt and impressed marks for Kinkozan, 22.2cm dia. (2)
