TWO JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE

19TH CENTURY

The first depicting a sennin carrying a large basket and wearing mugwort leaves, signed Gyokusen (possibly for Gyokusen Tomochika), the other carved as Hankai carrying the palace door, signed Hachisho, 5.2cm. (2)

Provenance: purchased from Roland Koscherak Far Eastern Art, by repute.
