The cover with a central roundel depicting European figures and attendants beneath a pine tree, one carrying a banner, another a plate of fruit, encircled by scrolling foliate borders reserved on a bright yellow ground, the base with a two character mark which reads shang xin (truly appreciated), raised on a fitted hardwood reticulated stand, 16cm.
