A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PHOENIX HEAD KENDI

KANGXI 1662-1722

The quatrefoil body moulded with panels of flowering peony, prunus, chrysanthemum and lotus, the spout modelled as a phoenix's head, the waisted neck with an inverted rim painted with foliate panels, 23.5cm.

Provenance: a private collection, Holland Park, London.
