18TH CENTURY AND LATER

Onlaid in ivory with carved figures in dragon boats and at the water's edge, with pagodas and other small dwellings amongst maple and pine trees, mounted on a modern panel painted with a harbour scene, contained in a wood frame, 36cm x 81cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Edmund Ommaney, acquired in Peking in 1860, by repute.
