A fine Japanese Satsuma ovoid vase by Sozan, Meiji 1868-1912. Delicately painted with a panel containing two puppies beneath a blossoming tree, the reverse with various fish swimming amidst leaves, the dark chocolate coloured ground decorated with leaf sprays in differing shades of gold, signed, 12.8cm.
