A pair of Chinese eggshell porcelain armorial teabowls c.1735, decorated with the arms of Murray quartering Hepburn, Baronets of Glendoich, within panels on a grey diaper ground, gilded with large peony sprays, one cracked in half, 7.1cm. Provenance: the Clifford Henderson collection. Purchased from Heirloom and Howard in 2000. The title for this family became extinct in 1774 on the death of the fifth Baronet, Sir Alexander Hepburn-Murray.
