A Chinese armorial small bowl c.1745, painted to two sides with the arms of Giles impaling Despayne, between famille rose floral sprays, the interior with a gilt spearhead border, a small rim chip, 11.9cm. Provenance: the Clifford Henderson collection. Purchased from J & E D Vandekar in 1972.
