A Chinese armorial elongated octagonal dish c.1765, decorated with the arms of Chichester quarterley, Earl of Donegall, the rim painted with famille rose flower sprays, 28.2cm. Provenance: the Clifford Henderson collection. This service was probably made for Arthur Chichester, 5th Earl of Donegall around the time that he was created Marquess of Donegall.
