A good Chinese armorial cylindrical tankard c.1745, decorated with the Arms of Nassau quartering the Earl of Rochford impaling Young, 14.5cm high. Provenance: the Clifford Henderson collection. This mug was made for the 4th Earl of Rochford, Secretary to George II and Ambassador at the Courts of Madrid and Versailles.
