A Chinese armorial soup plate c.1755, the rim painted with the arms of Salvador within flower sprigs, the well painted with a Chinese warrior standing before three other figures beneath flowering magnolia, two small filled chips to the rim, 22.8cm. Provenance: Christie's, London, May 1969. Bonham's, London, 22nd March 2005, lot 25. The Clifford Henderson collection.
