A large Chinese cloisonné dragon censer and cover 18th / 19th century, decorated with a reticulated central band of dragons divided by shou characters, the knop formed as dragons amidst cloud scrolls and raised on three elephant head feet, the cover and body decorated with flowering peony, chrysanthemum and prunus on a turquoise ground, 54cm. (2) Provenance: Frances Sarah Williams of Cornwall Gardens, Kensington and thence by descent. Please note: Woolley and Wallis will be donating the buyer's premium and the vendor's commission on this lot to Salisbury Hospice.
