A rare Chinese yellow jade brushpot late Qing dynasty, the cylindrical body finely carved with two panels, one containing iris and rockwork, the other with columns of calligraphy, the calligraphy picked out in gold, the stone with russet and brown markings towards the base, 9.7cm high, 5.7cm diameter.
