A CHINESE YIXING SQUARE-SECTION TEA CANISTER AND COVER

18TH CENTURY

Each facet decorated in relief with a bird swooping down towards a prunus tree, with a further two birds below, all reserved on a finely incised key fret ground, the body surmounted by a short metal neck, with a dragon in pursuit of a sacred pearl to the cover, 24.5cm. (2)
