The lacquered paper headband supporting a row of phoenix and dragons, surmounted by a central temple, below the domed metal frame adorned with elaborate paper-backed kingfisher feathers, glass stones and simulated pearl decorations, with red tassels suspended from a plaque at the back, the interior lined in red silk.
