A Chinese qingbai gourd-shaped box and cover Song dynasty 960-1279 AD, the lobed body formed as a single fruit, the stalk issuing from the centre, the pale turquoise glaze pooling at its base, a mark in relief to the base which reads wu jia he zi ji, 7.3cm. (2)

Provenance: the collection of Andrew Williams Esq., Oxfordshire.
