A Chinese jianyao 'hare's fur' glazed bowl Song dynasty 960-1279 AD, the gently flared body with a metal rim, decorated with an unctuous glaze of black and brown, and with irregular russet markings draining from the rim, stopping before a short footrim, 13cm dia.

Provenance: the collection of Andrew Williams Esq., Oxfordshire.
