A Chinese celadon jade carving of a deer probably late Ming, recumbent with its head raised, holding a leafy bamboo stalk in its mouth, a four character mark to one side which reads zhi da yu zhi, which relates to the Emperor Wu Zong's Imperial reign (1308-1311), a hardwood stand, 9.3cm. (2)
