λ A pair of large Chinese brown lacquer cabinets 19th century, each with two outward-opening hinged doors, one opening to reveal three shelves, the other with mirror backing and a smaller cabinet topped with drawers, the doors' interiors mounted with rectangular Chinese paintings, applied to the exterior with ivory, hardstones and mother of pearl depicting many figures engaged in leisure pursuits beside a pagoda in a fenced rocky garden, beneath wutong and pine trees, the fittings brass, 156.5cm x 41.2cm x 98.3cm.
