LATE QING DYNASTY/REPUBLIC PERIOD

Of cylindrical form, painted in coloured enamels with ladies in a farmhouse engaged in various stages of silk production as two children help, the base with a six character Qianlong mark, 14cm.

Provenance: by repute, from the collection of James Henry Taylor, who was a sub-lieutenant in the Royal Navy at Her Majesty's Naval Base, Tamar, Hong Kong.
