A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE OVOID VASE
19TH CENTURY
Painted in bright enamels with two panels enclosing scenes of figures and houses by a river in a mountainous landscape, all on a vibrant ground decorated with scrolling lotus, the neck flanked by two mythical beast-shaped handles, the interior and base with a turquoise glaze, a six character Qianlong mark and a faint two character mark which reads Li Ye to the base, 33cm.
