A NEAR PAIR OF CHINESE IMARI OVOID VASES AND COVERS

KANGXI 1662-1722

The body of each painted in enamels and gilt with a continuous scene of houses and figures in a watery mountain landscape, with bands of geometric patterns to the shoulders, one cover decorated with a further landscape scene and sprays of bamboo, the other with floral and foliate designs, 24cm. (4)
