TWO CHINESE MINIATURE SILVER INLAID BRONZE VESSELS AND COVERS

MING DYNASTY

One with a compressed circular body decorated with archaistic motifs in inlaid gold and silver, the cover cast in relief with a medallion of stylised dragons, the other with a flaring body shaped with two raised ribs, the three feet with inlaid silver wire decoration, with a wood cover, 8cm, 214g and 267g. (4)

Provenance: from an Australian private collection, formed in the 1980s and 1990s.
