A PAIR OF CHINESE BRONZE VASES

17TH CENTURY

Each with a pear-shaped body supported on a gently spreading foot and rising to a tall neck with a slightly flared rim, with illegible seal marks to the bases, 26.2cm, 1.8kg and 1.6kg. (2)

Provenance: from a German private collection acquired in Asia between 1955 and 1965 and thence by descent.
