A LARGE CHINESE BRONZE 'TWIN-FISH' BOWL
20TH CENTURY
Shaped as a flowerhead, decorated with birds, figures, flowers and leaves cast in low relief, with two fish to the well, all supported on three feet, 44cm, 4kg.
Provenance: from the collection of Ernst Michel (d.1949), an architect working in Germany in the first half of the 20th century and involved with Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus Movement.
