LATE 19TH CENTURY
The plain dark blue silk decorated to the front and reverse with civil rank badges of a paradise fly catcher for a ninth rank official, embroidered in silk, silver and gold thread with couching, the lining a pale blue, together with a copy of Chinese Silks and Sewing Tools by Jocelyn Chatterton, 163cm across, 125cm long.
