One a dark red colour with hints of magenta and lavender, the glass of the other a transparent red, each raised on a short oval foot, 6cm. (2)

Provenance: from the collection of Ernst Michel (d.1949), an architect working in Germany in the first half of the 20th century and involved with Walter Gropius and the Bauhaus Movement.
