One side decorated with a pair of ducklings in a pond, the reverse with a pair of giant pandas amidst a bamboo grove.

Liu Shouben (1943–2022) was an early student of Ye Bengqi and his brother Ye Xiaofeng, founders of the modern Beijing School of Snuff Bottle Painting in the 1950s. He remained the leading figure of the Beijing School after Wang Xisan departed for Hebei to establish his own school.
