Comprising: three carved in hornbill, one as a cicada, another as a figural group, the third as a Daoist deity and a boy; a fourth snuff bottle carved in buffalo horn with brass mounts studded with coral, turquoise and agate beads, inscribed to the base.

From an English private collection, the hornbill bottles purchased from Sotheby & Co London, 31st March 1972, lots 473, 475 and 480, a copy of the invoice is available.
