A Chinese scroll painting, ink and colour on silk, with two collectors' seals, one reads chen Pengao chang shou nian yi zisun, together with another Chinese scroll painting depicting blossoming flowers and rockwork.


From the collection of Jean Brediam (d.1949), who was the Director General of the Municipal Services of the French Concession in Shanghai until 1940. In 1946, he returned to China and was appointed the Head of the Shanghai office of the French Economic Mission.
