A Chinese scroll painting, ink and colour on silk, inscribed and signed Yuanyu, with an artist's seal and a collector's seal.
From the collection of Jean Brediam (d.1949), who was the Director General of the Municipal Services of the French Concession in Shanghai until 1940. In 1946 he returned to China and was appointed the Head of the Shanghai office of the French Economic Mission.
