A Chinese scroll painting, ink and colour on silk, a colophon signed Tie Bao with a seal, inscribed and dated the wushen year; signed Zhou Fang, with an artist's seal reading Zhou Fang zhi yin and three collectors' seals.

From the collection of Jean Bredim (d.1949), who was the Director General of the Municipal Services of the French Concession in Shanghai until 1940. In 1946, he returned to China and was appointed the Head of the Shanghai office of the French Economic Mission.
