From the Helen Espir Collection.
Comprising: an 18th century Dutch-decorated bottle vase, with an applied blue chilong crawling around the neck and later-enamelled in the Kakiemon style, with a paper label for 'R & G McPherson Antiques London 23668'; a sauce boat and a bowl later-enamelled in the Imari style; and a further two drinking vessels, one with a label for 'R& G McPherson, London 23307 Dando Coll', a jug, a bowl, a vase, a brushpot, a jar and cover, and a tureen and cover all later-enamelled; together with a Worcester sweetmeat dish, with a paper label for 'Mary and Peter White Collection', all with 'HMEC' or the 'Helen Espir Collection' paper labels.
From the Helen Espir Collection. nos. 385, 768, 859, 962, 973, 991, 996, 1012, 1024, 1043; the 'chilong' bottle vase, no. 768, purchased from P & A Butt, January 2000.
