From an English private collection, acquired in the first of the 20th century and thence by descent.

The exterior painted with eight passion flower blooms between a border of lotus flowers to the rim and a border of lappets above the foot, the interior painted to the centre with a prunus flower surrounded by lotus blooms, below a further lotus flower border, all raised on a slightly tapering foot.
