A fine Chinese cloisonné vase
A fine Chinese cloisonné vase, fanghu 16th/17th century, the pear-shaped body with two gilt loose-ring handles, decorated with gnarled branches of magnolia, peony, peach and pine issuing from blue rockwork, beneath bands of scrolling lotus and stiff leaves, all reserved on a turquoise ground and with a tapering footrim depicting horses amidst waves and cloud scrolls, 32.9cm.
