A Chinese silvered-bronze lacquered ground mirror probably Liao dynasty, the thin circular disc form decorated with a pair of butterflies, two large flower sprays reserved on a black lacquered ground, 22.6cm.

Provenance: formerly from the Mengdiexun Collection, Sotheby's Hong Kong, 4th October 2011, lot 2429.
