A Chinese iron-red and green glazed baluster jar Jiajing 1522-1566, decorated with dragons amidst flowers and cloud scrolls contesting flaming pearls of wisdom, the shoulder with six flowerhead roundels on a cash diaper band, 17.5cm.

Provenance: from the collection of the 2nd Viscount Bearsted, and thence by descent.
