A Chinese famille rose sgraffito ground bowl six character Qianlong mark and of the period 1736-95, vibrantly painted with a flower bloom to the one side issuing from the rim, a single-stemmed flower to the other, the glaze an even lemon-yellow, paper label for the Liddell Collection, 29.2cm.

Provenance: the Gerald Mere collection, and thence by descent.
