A Chinese famille rose sgraffito ground bowl six character Qianlong mark and of the period 1736-95, the body flaring at the rim, painted with chrysanthemum and other smaller flowers issuing from the rim, the glaze a vibrant pea-green, paper label for the Liddell Collection, 19.2cm.

Provenance: the Gerald Mere collection, and thence by descent.
