*A pair of Chinese Imperial dragon wine cups each with a six character Daoguang mark and of the period 1821-50, painted in iron-red with two scaly five-clawed dragons amidst clouds, the rim and foot with a double ring, 6cm dia. (2)

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Austin Tydings, USA.

Cf. Imperial Porcelain of Late Qing, pl.87, where a similar pair from the Xianfeng period is illustrated.
