A fine Chinese pale celadon jade carving of Shoulao Qianlong 1736-95, standing holding a lotus spray with two large flowerheads in his right hand, and a lingzhi in his left, he wears flowing robes and has a small boy attendant who offers him a large peach, a wood stand, 10.5cm. (2)

Provenance: a European private collection, purchased from Spink & Son on 4th November 1958. A copy of the receipt available.
