A fine Chinese exceptionally white jade shallow fu shou bowl Qianlong 1736-95, raised on a short footrim, the exterior carved in relief with a band of eight bats divided by shou characters beneath a single raised band and a flared rim, the stone practically flawless, 9.7cm dia.

Provenance: an English private collection, purchased from J Sparks Ltd in the 1920s.
