Two Japanese black lacquer netsuke late 19th century, one in the form of Usofuki making clown faces, unsigned, and the other of a Buaku with gold lacquer eyes and teeth and with a faint gold lacquer mark to the reverse, 4.5cm. (2)

Provenance: from the collection of the 2nd Viscount Bearsted, and thence by descent.
