A Chinese Canton famille rose small bowl 18th century, painted with a jay perched on a flowering rose bush issuing from blue rockwork, and a cylindrical enamel box and cover decorated with panels of flowers and insects, and dragons to the cover, the interior inscribed yuan chun zhao (first month of spring), 17cm.
