A Chinese famille rose green ground circular basin Jiaqing 1796-1820, with a wide flattened rim, brightly enamelled with an extensive scrolling foliate design with lotus, peony and prunus, and with bats, peaches and stylized ruyi-heads, all around a central peony bloom, 32.1cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Luís Esteves Fernandes (1897-1988).
