A Japanese gold lacquer box and cover, kobako early 19th century, the cover with mi-partie decoration in Todaiji style with scrolling lotus and autumn grasses in gold haramaki-e and aogai on a fundame ground, the interior in dense nashigi, the rims mounted in silver, 8.6cm. (2)
