A Chinese gilt bronze padlock 19th/20th century

A Chinese gilt bronze padlock 19th/20th century, cast in relief with two dragons contesting a flaming pearl of wisdom, with three other gilt metal and enamel fittings, two formed as ruyi-heads and depicting vases, flower sprigs and characters, the last formed as a peach, 11cm max. (4)

Provenance: from the collection of Luís Esteves Fernandes (1897-1988).
